Introduction and Objectives |
Top |
The different international legislations regarding the Prevention of Capital Laundering have increased prevention measures and extended the number of subjects affected and their obligations; non-compliance with the legal obligations will result in fines and sanctions.
In applying these regulations, the financial entities and other subjects affected should:
Identify their clients. |
| |
Adopt preventive control measures. |
| |
Examine and communicate those operations suspected of laundering |
| |
Communicate those operations that fulfil certain requirements to the authoritative bodies. |
| |
Adapt their internal procedures and organisation to fulfil the above-mentioned obligations. |
| |
Assume a strict compliance with the duty of confidentiality and train their employees. |
Failure to fulfil these obligations may result in fines and sanctions in conformance with National Laws and International Regulations that regulate the preventive measures of capital laundering.
The objective of the course in the Prevention of Capital Laundering is:
To capacitate professionals in the sector in the prevention of capital laundering, in a participative environment with a primarily practical approach. |
| |
To study the phenomenon of capital laundering, its different forms and the anti-laundering measures most applied in Europe, the United States, Latin America and the Caribbean. |
| |
To train those responsible for the Prevention of Laundering in financial entities in everything regarding the current regulations that are in force. |
| |
To capacitate the officers of regulating bodies in prevention tasks within their ordinary inspection functions. |
We believe that this training programme responds to personal and professional needs and demands as well as those derived from the market.
