Grants & Scholarships

CIFF, together with our Collaborating Partners provide the possibility of further education to those students within Spain, Europe, Latin America, or countries recently incorporated (or currently being incorporated) into the European Union, who through their own means would not be able to access such high quality education despite possessing a shining academic and professional profile.

CIFF together with our Collaborating Partners, offer Grants & Scholarships to students excelling in their given professional or personnel field. Candidates are assessed on criteria of Academic Excellence as deemed by our Collaborating Partners. All applications for Grants or Scholarships should be made through the Admissions department at CIFF.

Fundación Carolina Scholarships
      
Through the Fundación Carolina, CIFF offers Scholarships to Latin American candidates, which include a partial reduction of the Course Fee, a plane ticket and accommodation and maintenance costs.

Accommodation Grants from the Universidad de Alcalá
      
CIFF offers Accommodation Grants through the Universidad de Alcalá. Complete Grants are available for those enrolled in full and part-time programmes taught on-site. Partial Grants are available for those enrolled in courses of “Blended Learning”, in which the programmes begin off-site and finish on-site at the CIFF premises in Madrid.

Scholarships of Excellence from The Santander Group
      
Through The Santander Group, CIFF provides Scholarships of Excellence to professionals with high level performance, assessing applicants though a selection of specifically defined criteria.

Instituto Nacional de Estadística (INE) Scholarships of Excellence

Instituto Nacional de Estadística (INE) provides Scholarships of Excellence to candidates interested in a career in Statistics in the Public Sector. Last year, Instituto Nacional de Estadística offered €36,000 in Scholarships.

Instituto Nacional de Estadística awards Scholarships to those candidates who cover the pre-requisites, pass the criteria of academic excellence and have geographic mobility.

Secretaría de Estado de Educación Superior, Ciencia y Tecnología (Dominican Republic)
      
CIFF provides Scholarships through SEESCyT, in accordance with the current agreement between SEESCyT and the Universidad de Alcalá.

Caja de Ahorro “Cajasol” (Andalucía) Scholarships
      
CIFF and Cajasol provide Scholarships of Academic Excellence, awarded through the Fundación Carolina to Latin American candidates. Scholarships can include a partial reduction of the Course Fee, a plane ticket and accommodation and maintenance costs during the taught part of the programme.

In addition, CIFF has various Collaborative Agreements with institutions from Latin America, the United States of America and Europe. These agreements follow particular objectives which among others facilitate the exchange of students, professors and investigators from one institution to another.

Financing

Committing yourself to a Postgraduate Programme involves sound financial planning from the start. It is possible that prices may change from year-to-year and as such, students must allow for possible increases to the Course Fee, Accommodation Costs and Living Costs.

Candidates residing in Spain can take advantage of special financing loans offered by the Banco Santander in collaboration with CIFF.

Course Fee instalments and discounts for early payments

The student may make the Course Fee payment in two modalities:

Up until one month before the start of their registered CIFF programme:

  • 50% payment: This modality will result in an addition 2% discount of the remaining Course Fee (i.e. after the reduction of the deposit and any applicable Scholarship from the Full Course Fee).
  • 100% payment: This modality will result in an addition 5% discount of the remaining Course Fee (i.e. after the reduction of the deposit and any applicable Scholarship from the Full Course Fee).

In three payments:

  • First Payment: “Place Reservation Deposit”.
  • Second Payment: upon beginning the programme of study.
  • Third Payment: before the 30 of January.

Please bear in mind that the incompletion to pay the full Course Fee before the 30th of January will result in the possible exclusion of the student from the programme of study.
